There’s countless plug-in versions of outboard gear, guitar amps, stomp boxes, consoles, preamps, tape and of course microphones, which, up until fairly recently, were considered a bit of a holy grail in the analogue modelling world. There’s no denying that we are utterly spoilt for choice when it comes to analogue emulations. Whether you like it or not analogue modelling plays a significant role in today’s recording world.
